LinkedIn Reports and Dashboards Package
The LinkedIn Reports and Dashboards unmanaged package contains a dashboard called DST - LinkedIn Digital Overview that is made up of the following components:
- LinkedIn Cost Metrics
- LinkedIn Spend by Campaign
- LinkedIn Clicks vs Cost per Click
- LinkedIn Leads vs Cost per Lead
- Cost per Click by LinkedIn Campaign
- Top LinkedIn Campaigns by MQL
- Click Through Rate by LinkedIn Campaign
- Overall LinkedIn Impressions
- Digital Responses from X

After installation, the Digital Responses from LinkedIn report may require customization depending on how your UTM parameters are set for LinkedIn ads. By default, the report has a filter on UTM Source = "LinkedIn". If your LinkedIn ads use a different value for UTM Source, edit the report and change this filter accordingly.
Update existing Reports/Dashboards to reflect new Ad Network Field Updates
In the June 2024 release of Digital Source Tracker, there is a new capability to include LinkedIn spend data, along with existing Google Adwords, Bing, LinkedIn, and Meta spend data (from the January 2024 DST Release). The existing reports and dashboards provided by Full Circle prior to the February 2022 release only account for the Google Adwords spend data. In order to incorporate LinkedIn spend data and any subsequent ad network spend data that will be added in the future, the following adjustments need to be made to the existing reports and dashboards for any deployments occurring before February 2022.
New Fields added for spend data (Aggregate Database Entry):
- LinkedIn Spend (Total Spend for LinkedIn Ad)
- Total Cost (Bing Spend + GA Cost + LinkedIn Spend + Meta Spend + LinkedIn Spend) Note: Total Cost has been updated to incorporate LinkedIn spend
Full Circle Digital Cost
Make the following changes in the below components and underlying reports below to reference "Total Cost" instead of "GA Cost"
- Total Digital Advertising Spend
- Add "Total Cost" field to "Total Digital Advertising Spend" report
- Update component value to reference "Sum of Total Cost" instead of "Sum of GA Cost"
- Total Digital Advertising Spend by Campaign
- Add "Total Cost" field to "Campaign Digital Advertising Spend" report
- Modify grouping to group rows by "Source" instead of by "Medium" (After Day)
- Update Filter to reference "Total Cost" instead of "GA Cost" in "Campaign Digital Advertising Spend" report
- Update component value to reference "Sum of Total Cost" instead of "Sum of GA Cost"
- Total PPC Spend by Medium
- Change component label to "Total PPC Spend by Source"
- Update component value to be "Sum of Total Cost" instead of "Sum of GA Cost"
- Update component to be sliced by "source" instead of "medium"
- Digital Campaign Costs by Medium
- Change component label to "Digital Campaign Costs by Source"
- Update component to have "source" on the x-axis replacing "medium"
- Update component to have "Sum of Total Cost" on y-axis instead of "Sum of GA Cost"
- Digital Advertising Spend by Campaign (Grouped by Medium)
- Change sub-label to "Grouped by Source"
- Update component to have "Source" on the y-axis instead of "Medium" (before Campaign)
- Update component to have "Total Cost" on x-axis instead of "GA Cost"
- Digital Advertising Spend by Campaign (Grouped by Month)
- Change component to reference "Campaign Digital Advertising Spend" report
- Update component to have "Total Cost" on x-axis instead of "GA Cost"
Full Circle Digital Engagement
The below component report should be modified
- Digital Advertising Pageviews by Source
- Remove "source = google" filter
- Add filter for "Total Cost > 0"
Full Circle Digital Effectiveness
Make the following changes to the component reports, replacing "GA Cost" with "Total Cost" in report cost formula
- Cost Per Digital Advertising Lead
- Update "Cost Per Lead" formula in "Cost Per Lead" Report by replacing "GA_Cost__c:SUM" with "Total_Cost__c:SUM"
- Update report grouping to replace "medium" with "source" (after day)
- Update chart report by adding "source" to y-axis grouping (after day)
- Digital Advertising Cost - Lead vs MQL
- Update "Cost Per Lead" and "Cost Per MQL" formulas in "Digital Traffic - Lead vs MQL" report by replacing "GA_Cost__c:SUM" with "Total_Cost__c:SUM"
- Cost Per MQL by Month
- Update "Cost Per MQL" formula in "Cost Per MQL by Medium" report by replacing "GA_Cost__c:SUM" with "Total_Cost__c:SUM"
- Remove "by Medium" from component sub-header
- Digital Traffic vs Cost of Net New Name
- Update "Cost Per Net New Name" formula in "Digital Traffic - Cost Per New Name" report by replacing "GA_Cost__c:SUM" with "Total_Cost__c:SUM"
- Digital Advertising - Cost Metrics
- Update "Cost Per Lead", "Cost Per MQL", "Cost Per Opp", and "Cost Per Net New Name" formulas in "Digital Traffic - Cost Metrics" report by replacing "GA_Cost__c:SUM" with "Total_Cost__c:SUM"
Full Circle Digital Revenue
Make the following change to the component report, replacing "GA Cost" with "Total Cost" in report cost formula
- Cost Per Won by Medium
- Update "Cost Per Won" formula in "Cost Per Won by Medium" report by replacing "GA_Cost__c:SUM" with "Total_Cost__c:SUM"
