LinkedIn Reporting
The following are considerations when you're looking to build your own custom reports to take advantage of LinkedIn Data.
- Report Type to Use: Aggregate Database Entries
-
Report Filters:
- Show Me: All aggregate database entries
- Date Filter: Day [Specified Date Range.. i.e. Current and Previous FQ]
- Active = TRUE
- GA Data May Change = FALSE
- Spend
- LinkedIn Spend > 0 (To get isolated data related to LinkedIn Paid Ads)
- Total Cost > 0 (To get all Ad spend, to compare against LinkedIn Ad Spend)
- Data Source (Website Driven Activity):
- "GA Segments" OR "GA4 Segments" (See GA4 Report filter documentation).
- Data Source (Summary of All LinkedIn Activity)
- "GA Summary" OR "GA4 Summary" (See GA4 Report filter documentation).
Summary vs Segment Data Source Filter:
To get a summary of all LinkedIn data including spend and activity related to LinkedIn Forms, use the Summary Data Source (GA or GA4). If you want to isolate LinkedIn activity and spend data by ad campaigns that drive users to your website, use the Segment Data Source (GA or GA4).
