Their funnel record is closed, too.
When an account has a closed Opportunity (won or lost), the associated Account Funnel Record is closed.
Any new activity on that account will trigger the start of a new Account Funnel Record. The current status of the account will reflect "Won" if closed/won or "Targeted" if closed/lost. Once new activity occurs, the status will be updated to reflect the currently attained stage of the account.
