With dozens of response statuses available, keeping track of every definition can be a challenge. Here's a quick-reference guide for each picklist value.

Active statuses | |
Open - Not Contacted | A lead or contact has entered the funnel but hasn't been engaged yet. Awaiting outreach. |
Attempting Contact | Sales or marketing has made outreach attempts (e.g., email or call) but has not received a reply. |
Working | Engagement is in progress. A sales or marketing rep is actively working with the lead/contact. |
Qualified - New Opportunity / Active Opportunity | The contact has shown strong interest or fit and has been converted into an opportunity. |
Inactive statuses | |
Not a Response | Set for Campaign Members that are not responses |
Resolved - Already Engaged | Related lead/contact already has an active status, and may or may not be at score threshold. |
Resolved - No Action Required | Did not need to become active due to engagement threshold or nurture timeout. |
Resolved - Existing Opportunity | Lead is already tied to a known opportunity. Treated as continuation, not net-new. |
Resolved - Opportunity Deleted | Related opportunity has been deleted and the funnel has been closed. |
Resolved - Opportunity Won | The opportunity resulted in a successful deal (Closed Won). Funnel completes successfully. |
Resolved - Opportunity Lost | The opportunity was pursued but ultimately lost (Closed Lost). This concludes the engagement. |
Disqualified statuses | |
Nurture/Marketing | The lead is not ready for direct sales engagement but is placed into a nurture track for future qualification. |
Disqualified | The lead/contact is determined to be unfit based on criteria like role, intent, budget, etc. |
Never Engaged Values | |
Resolved – No Action Required | Did not need to become active due to engagement threshold or nurture timeout. |
Resolved – Already Engaged | Related lead/contact already has an active status value, and may or may not be at score threshold. |
Legacy | Set for old responses prior to FCI deployment. |
Non-Response Status Values | |
Not a Response | Set for Campaign Members that are not responses. |
Non-Response-RT | Set for responses that are added to leads/contacts with a record type that is defined as a non-response. |
System Value | |
Pending - Scoring | Special intermediate status value used by the system when evaluating scoring. Note: If you see this status value, it likely indicates an error. |
Other | |
Unmapped | This status exists on a lead or contact but is not mapped to any valid Response Status in Funnel Metrics. It will not track properly until mapped. |
