New Features
X Ads Integration
What:
Digital Source Tracker will now allow you to pull in ad metric values (cost, clicks, etc.) from X.
Where and How:
In order to fully take advantage of the X Ad Network Integration feature you need to:
- Set up the X Integration.
- Update Reports and Dashboards (for existing Digital Source Tracker customers that launched before Feb 2022) and/or request the X Reports and Dashboards package by logging a case in the Full Circle Customer Success Community
The following fields have been added to the Aggregate Database Entry object to account for X Ads data. (All metrics are totaled by day)
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| X Spend | The spend of an X ad campaign. |
| X Clicks | The number of clicks, including favorites and other engagements, on an X ad link. |
| X URL Clicks | The number of clicks on the link or Website Card in an X ad. |
| X Impressions | The number of impressions on an X ad link. |
Who:
Digital Marketers that are reporting and doing analysis on costs associated to digital ad campaigns that include X ads, and how that correlates to digital responses and revenue. If you are not running any ads on X, you don't need to make any changes.
Why:
Previously, the cost data available in Digital Source Tracker was for Google Ads, Bing, LinkedIn, and Meta. Customers with X Ads weren't able to include the cost analysis for those ads in their reporting and dashboard components that tracked items like Cost Per Lead, Cost Per MQL, etc.
When:
Once your X Integration is setup, the X data will flow into the new fields and will be available for reporting. See here for how to setup the integration so the data is properly reflected in existing components in Digital Source Tracker Dashboards.
Key Considerations:
- You will need the Response Management 1.50 release or greater, and the Digital Source Tracker 1.19 release or greater.
- In order to configure the X / Digital Source Tracker integration, you will need an X Ads account, an X Developer account from which you can apply for X Ads API access, and a Salesforce user with a Full Circle Configuration permission set.
- For customers that deployed prior to Feb 2022, any existing Dashboards and Reports will not automatically reflect X Spend data. See here for instructions on how to incorporate.
