There are multiple use cases where you might want to back-populate the visit data from the DST, among them are:
- You forgot to mark some campaigns as Digital Campaigns and want the DST to rerun the matching,
- The CampaignMember under a digital campaign was not created as a response,
- The Email address on the Lead/Contact was not populated correctly at the time of CampaignMember's creation.
Note: By yourself, you can back-populate data up to 2 months. If you try to use a value greater than 1460 hours (essentially 2 months), a validation rule will block such a value. If you need to back-populate a larger lookback time, please submit a request and we'll help.
If 2 months are enough, here are the steps to back-populate the data
Go to Full Circle Configuration | DST Configuration | Touchpoint Capture Advanced Configuration tab.
Edit the field “Scheduled Batch Job - Number of Hours to Query” to the number of hours in the past that you want to back-populate (e.g. 30 days = 720 hours)
Wait a few hours, then return and change “Scheduled Batch Job - Number of Hours to Query” back to desired usual setting (default is 24).
