How Notable are Your Achievements?
Use the Achieving dashboard to track progress toward your company's goals.
Video Transcript
Welcome back. In this section, we’ll focus on the Achieving dashboard. This dash is designed to help you track how well you are progressing towards meeting the organization's goals that were established for the year.
Measuring achievement is typically done on a regular basis throughout the entire year. Having these metrics easily available helps with at-a-glance achievement reviews, meeting preparation, resourcing, etc.
To use this dashboard, you will need to assess your historical data , and then configure each of the gauge components with your organizational targets. This typically requires going through the planning and evaluating steps followed by coming to agreements on goal setting before this dashboard can be modified, so it’s often the last one of the series to be adopted in active use. Remember that now that you are using funnel metrics your future data will be much more complete and accurate, so this will get easier.
(1:00) Best practices for the achieving dashboard are to customize the gauge ranges to reflect your organization's goals, to regularly review opportunity coverage metrics to avoid revenue surprises, and to review stage specific metrics to be sure the org is on track to meet goals.
Opportunity coverage is defined as the amount of business in an organization’s pipeline relative to the revenue goals for a given period.
Again, please see our documentation for a video specific to this dashboard, as well as some use case examples and how-to guides with configuration of the components once you’ve determined what the targets are.
Next up, please join us for the Optimizing Dashboard. Thanks for watching.
