Three Sources of Data, One Source of Truth
Marketing runs on data – lots of data, from many different sources. Monitoring and consolidating all that data can be time-consuming and overwhelming for even the most efficient marketing teams.
The Daily Aggregate Database takes on those tasks so you can focus on analysis and decision-making. It parses and aggregates data from three key sources:
- Google Analytics for anonymous website traffic and related cost information
- Touchpoint Capture for information on formerly-anonymous visitors who convert to viable prospects
- Funnel Metrics for insights into your prospects’ progress through the marketing funnel
By using a MapReduce algorithm from the world of Big Data, the Daily Aggregate Database consolidates and stores data from all three of these sources in a new Salesforce custom object called the Aggregate Database Entry. This enables marketers to spend less time preparing data and more time putting it to good use.
