What is the "Campaign Sourced By" Field?

If different departments or segments of your company need different styles of funnel or use different funnel stages, multiple funnels will give everyone the options they need.

The key to multiple funnels is the Campaign Sourced By picklist field. This is a Funnel Metrics packaged field (one of our Custom Object and Custom Fields) that's located on the Campaign object, and its values define your funnels. By default, the Campaign Sourced By field contains two values: Sales and Marketing. This is why your out-of-the-box Funnel Metrics program likely came with two campaign types called – surprise! – Sales and Marketing. To add funnels, you must first add values to the Campaign Source By picklist.
