New Features
View Response Link in Response Selector
A View Response link has been added to the Response Selector component under the Most Recent Response and Active Response sections. Clicking the link navigates directly to the associated Campaign Member Response record, providing quick access without needing to navigate away from the lead or contact record.
Note: The opportunity icon within the Response Selector (crown icon), which links to the opportunity associated with a Campaign Member, will only appear on Contact records. Leads cannot be attached to opportunities and will not display this icon.
Who does it benefit?
Users who want direct access to Campaign Member Response records from the lead or contact page without additional navigation.
What problem does this new feature solve?
Previously, users had to navigate away from the lead or contact record to view the details of an associated Campaign Member Response. The View Response link provides a direct path to the response record, reducing the number of clicks needed to access this information.
Enablement Instructions
This feature does not require enablement. The View Response link will be visible to all users who have access to the Response Selector component.
Opportunity Association: Include Responses from Outside the Contact Account
A new configuration option has been added to Opportunity Association that allows responses to be associated with opportunities even when the contact's account differs from the opportunity's account.
Previously, Opportunity Association would only match contacts whose account matched the opportunity account. In cases where a mismatch existed, a default campaign would be associated instead of the correct campaign. When this setting is enabled, the opportunity account takes precedence and association will occur regardless of whether the contact and opportunity accounts match.
Who does it benefit?
Organizations where contacts are frequently associated with opportunities across different accounts, and who require accurate campaign attribution in these scenarios.
What problem does this new feature solve?
When a contact's account and the associated opportunity's account did not match, Opportunity Association was unable to identify the correct campaign and would fall back to associating a default campaign instead. This resulted in inaccurate campaign attribution for organizations whose sales processes involve contacts and opportunities across different accounts. This feature allows those organizations to ensure the correct campaign is always associated, with the opportunity account taking precedence.
Enablement Instructions
Navigate to Funnel Metrics Configuration > General > Opportunity Association and select "Include Responses from Outside the Contact Account."
