Digital Source Tracker (DST) uses first-party cookies. These cookies are necessary for DST's site visitor tracking functionality:
- _fcdscv: Holds the Visitor ID, which is a unique identifier for the site visitor. The cookie has an expiration period of 2 years.
- _fcdscst: Session cookie that stores a timestamp of when the session started on the customer site.
- _fcdsctmp: Temporarily stores the email address that was entered in a form on the customer site if the form redirects, used in the callout to our API to save visit information and tie the unique Visitor ID to email address. This cookie is cleared once the page redirects and the API call is made.
The following cookie is not necessary for functionality, but is for the purpose of respecting tracking preferences:
- _fcdscblock: Session cookie that indicates if visitor wants to persist tracking opt-out throughout session.
