Improvements
Attribution Rebuild Optimization
What:
There is now the option to exclude closed opportunities in the Campaign Attribution Rebuild. This will decrease the amount of opportunities in the rebuild process and will ultimately improve the rebuild timeframe.
Where:
To take advantage of this new optimization option, you'd need to access the Campaign Attribution Configuration page and select the option in Advanced Configuration settings.
Who:
This new option will be helpful to all Full Circle Attribution customers, but especially to those customers with large Salesforce Databases, for which the existing attribution rebuild timeframe spans up to 24 hours or more.
Key considerations
- Enabling this option will exclude processing on any closed Opportunities that did not already have attribution records, meaning they've previously been processed. Thus, any attribution reports will still include records for closed opportunities.
- This setting will be ignored anytime any of the models are modified. This includes when this option is enabled. The next time the rebuild runs, it will process ALL opportunities within the date range specified including previously processed closed opportunities. Then the next time the rebuild runs, it will skip over previously processed closed opportunities.
- If you have campaign updates that will affect the attribution for closed opportunities and you want that reflected in reports, you should disable this option and let the rebuild run on all opportunities.
- This option will not be reflected in the real time attribution for the Deal Explorer. If you're viewing a Closed Opportunity, the attribution will be processed and displayed in real time.
- This feature by default only applies to Full Circle standard model types (Account based, Opportunity Based). For customers with custom models, additional custom code will be need to be added to your instance for this feature to work. Please contact Full Circle Support for any assistance or guidance needed.
Default Campaign Expansion for Reactivation Scenarios
What:
There is now the capability to specify default campaigns by Profile or other User field for Invocable and Active Status Reactivation Scenarios. This is in addition to specifying default campaigns by User Role, which was previously the only way to segment the default campaigns.
Where:
To specify default campaigns by Profile or other User field in Invocable or Active Status Reactivation, as opposed to UserRole, you would need to go to Funnel Metrics Configuration, access and modify the appropriate Reactivation configuration to use Profile or another User field.
Who:
This addition will apply if you are using Invocable or Active Status Reactivation and are currently or wanting to have different campaigns instead of one default campaign. If so, you can opt to specify by profile or other user field instead of UserRole.
Full Circle - End User Permission Set
What:
There is a new permission set "Full Circle - End User", which is meant to be given to non-admin users that don't need access to the Full Circle Configuration Page.
Who:
This new permission set is meant for non-admin users that don't need access to Full Circle Configuration, but access Full Circle components in Leads, Campaigns, Opportunities, and Reports.
Where:
The "Full Circle - End User" permission set will be available in the list of permission sets once the org is upgraded to the February 2023 release.
Key considerations
- The existing permission set "Full Circle Response Management" has been renamed to "Full Circle Configuration". There has been no change to the permissions in this permission set. The name has been changed to indicate that these users have access to Full Circle Configuration Tab and pages.
- There is no requirement to modify any users and permission sets. The addition of the "Full Circle - End User" permission set has not changed or modified any user's access.
- To limit existing users from having access to Full Circle Configuration, non-admin users can be added to "Full Circle - End User" permission set and have the "Full Circle Configuration" permission set removed.
Platform Configuration Landing Page
What:
There is a new comprehensive landing page to configure products on the Full Circle Platform. Benefits of the new Platform Configuration page:
1. You have a one-stop page where you can view and configure all products on the Full Circle Platform.
2. Easily access Full Circle documentation and Full Circle Support
3. Learn about other products on the Full Circle Platform
Where:
The new Platform Landing Page can be accessed in the following ways:
A. Full Circle Configuration Tab
Look for "Full Circle Configuration" in your available Tabs. If you don't have access to this tab, you should contact your Salesforce Admin to enable the tab for your profile or user. In the meanwhile, you can get to configuration in the following way as well.
B. Installed Packages Link
In Setup, search for and click on Installed Packages in the left-hand column search bar.
Who:
Users with the "Full Circle Configuration" permission set can access the Full Circle Platform Configuration page.
