Response Prompt Overview
The Response Prompt dropdown allows sales reps to quickly select a campaign and qualify a lead or contact. The dropdown list contains a simplified list of campaigns for sales reps to select based on their team membership or role within the company.
Once a campaign is selected, the lead/contact becomes active. This enables it to progress through the funnel as it is worked by the Sales team.
Organizations running in Active Mode should use Response Prompts on their Lead and Contact page layouts.
Response Prompt campaigns are a little different from standard campaigns:
- They are always considered qualified, so lead scores are irrelevant.
- They are eligible to bypass the Nurture Timeout date if one is defined.
- They allow for the creation of repeat campaign members by users other than the defined Repeat Response user.
They are eligible for reactivation from the Response Prompt Reactivation scenario.
Adding Campaigns to the Response Selector Menu
To add a campaign to this dropdown, you must create a new campaign with the following settings, or adjust the settings of an existing campaign:
- Select an option in the "Campaign Sourced By" picklist
- "Active" set to True
- "Bypass nurture timeout" set to True
- "Repeat responses allowed" set to True
- Set the repeat response timeout segment to “2 min”
- In "Advanced Setup," make sure the default member status is set to "Responded"
Next, navigate to the Full Circle Response Management configuration in Installed Packages.
Navigate to the Response Prompt section and locate Settings.
Scroll down to the bottom of the Response Prompt Mappings
- Under “Prompt,” enter the name or label you would like to appear in the Response Selector Dropdown on the Lead/Contact. We recommend making this label as clear as possible for Sales reps.
- Under “Campaign,” enter the name of the new campaign you just created or edited. Select the magnifying glass icon to select the campaign you would like to use.
- Select “Add Prompt” to add the new campaign to the response prompt picklist.
If you would like this Response Prompt campaign to trigger reactivation when selected, set Trigger reactivation to True.
Scroll to the top of the page and click “Save and Return to Main.”
