Rematch Lead Button on Lead
The Matched Account section on leads now includes a Rematch Lead button. When selected, this will run the match functionality for the individual lead record only. Previously the only way to run match on existing leads was using the batch functionality that runs all leads using date criteria to define and limit which records should be matched.
Customizable Related Lists on Lead and Account Visualforce Pages
Matchmaker ships with two Visualforce pages that are placed on the lead and account page layouts respectively during installation. Previously it was not possible to customize which columns appeared or the order in which they appeared on the page. Users assigned the Full Circle Matchmaker Administrator Permission Set can now customize the columns on the Visualforce pages LAM_MatchedAccounts and LAM_MatchedLeads. Customization is performed either by clicking the wrench directly on the Visualforce pages or on the Matchmaker Advanced Settings configuration tab. The lead page Visualforce page heights should be modified from 200 to 440 pixels.
Check for Duplicate Contacts when Converting a Lead
Matchmaker is now able to match and convert leads to existing contacts which assists with contact duplicate management. There is a new section labeled Matched Contacts, that appears below Matched Accounts on the lead Visualforce page. After a Matched Account has been found, Matchmaker compares the email address of the lead to email addresses of all existing contacts at the associated matched account. If contacts are found with the same email address, they are listed in the lead Visualforce page, and a user can then manually match the lead to the existing contact. When a lead that has been matched to a contact is converted, the lead will merge with the matched contact, following Salesforce's standard convert functionality. New contact records will be created when a lead is converted and not matched with an previously existing contact record.
Account Activity Value Displayed in Account Rating
There is a new field labeled Account Activity Value that can be placed in the account page layout to support Account Activity Rating. The value displayed in this field is a count of the number of Campaign Member records that contribute to the rating displayed in the field Account Activity Rating. Once Account Activity Rating has been configured in Matchmaker configuration, this field can be used to provide additional information to the user when trying to understand the rating. The new field should be added to the page layout in order for users to view it.
Match Prioritization Enabled by Default
Previously this feature had to be enabled by the System Administrator upon installation. The application requires that this feature be enabled to successfully perform matches. Disabling this feature can result in unreliable match results. We have modified the default setting so that the feature is enabled for first time installations.
Calculate Email Domain Prior to Lead Match
Previously when setting up Matchmaker, users could initiate the application match feature without first enabling Email Domain Calculation. This resulted in inaccurate matches and created record sets that skewed subsequent matching performance. With this release, Matchmaker will first run Email Domain Calculation upon the first time that Lead Matching is run.
Clean Up Duplicate Record Sets
Matchmaker is designed to periodically clean up (delete) records created and used by the application in order to maintain performance and reduce impact on data storage in the org. It has already been deleting match requests, async requests and shadow leads. With this release the application will also delete duplicate record sets. The default time period after which these records will be deleted is 90 days. The default setting can be modified under Matchmaker Advanced Settings configuration tab.
Lead Assignment Expanded to Assignment Upon Create
Previously when configuring the conditions when a lead should be assigned, the System Administrator could select the option to have Matchmaker assign a lead once a lead owner was changed to a specific owner (user or queue). This functionality has been enhanced to trigger assignment when a lead record is created with a specific owner. Now when making this selection, the condition for assignment is when lead owner changes to or is created with a specific user or queue.
