Full Circle supports reporting in Salesforce.com on fields that exist on the Lead, Contact, Account and Opportunity. These fields are built on the campaign member or campaign influence detail (FCI custom object) objects which are the primary hubs Full Circle uses for reporting. Full Circle can be configured to synchronize these fields as they are populated upon create, update or when set to inactive. They capture specific information beyond the normal funnel metrics. Sync Fields typically fit into the following categories:
- Segments: Geo, Revenue size, # employees etc, Account types
- Selling Cycle: Active Trial, Targeted/Strategic Account
- SLA VISIBILITY - understanding rep engagement volume - the geo or sales team
Types of Sync Fields
- (On Create) - populated with value on the related object every time any response (campaign member record) is created. Can only be used for Lead or Contact fields
- (On Update) - populated with value on the related object every time the related object record is created and every time it is updated. Can only be used for Lead or Contact fields.
- (Current) - a formula field displaying the current value on a related object. Can be used for Lead, Contact, Opportunity, and Account fields.
Object to Object Sync Capabilities
- Lead to Campaign Member
- Contact to Campaign Member
- Campaign Member to Campaign Influence Detail - when influence refresh occurs
Limitations/Complications
These are not impossible but may require additional formula fields on the related object or workflow rules to set:
- Formula’s that hit limits
- Multi-select picklist values
- Lookup fields
