This article lists the recommended steps to take for the fastest and cleanest way to uninstall Response Management. Due to the amount of customization we provide to each customer, there is some manual cleanup required before Response Management can be fully removed from your salesforce.com org.
Attempting to uninstall the Response Management package is the easiest way to identify what components you need to manually remove before you can proceed with the uninstall.
You can access this tool in Salesforce by navigating to (Setup > App Setup > Deploy > Installed Package). You can also type “packages” In the Quick Find Search Bar for quick access.
Locate the “Full Circle Insights Response Management” package and click the blue Uninstall link
You should see a list of all package components this package entails. At the bottom of this page, are two radio button options. You may elect to save a copy of the package’s data for 48 hours after uninstall, but this is not a requirement. Select one of the radio buttons, click the checkbox, and press the “Uninstall” button.
The workflows will be located at the top of the uninstallation page. In the “Problems” column, you will see direct links for easy navigation to these workflows in Salesforce.
Once you have all the workflows open, it is very easy to locate which associated field updates or other actions you will need to delete. These can be found under “Workflow Actions.” The screenshot below shows field updates for the “Set MQL and MQL Date” workflow. These field updates should be deleted before disabling and deleting the workflow.
Under the “Component Type” header, locate “Page Layout.” Users that are assigned to a Full Circle layouts should be reassigned to a different layout. You can use the links provided in the problems section for quick navigation. The names of the page layouts listed here will provide you with the object that requires page layout reassignment.
Once you find the layout, click “View Assignment” to view the page layout assignment and press the “Edit Assignment” button. From here you can reassign all profiles with a Full Circle layout to a standard layout for this object.
Reports and Dashboards
Reports and dashboards are as folders when trying to uninstall the package. All Response Management reports and dashboards must be deleted in order for the package to be deleted. There are two options available to easily delete reports.
Option #1: Navigate to the reports tab and search for “Full Circle” in the folder search box.
In each Full Circle report folder, click the drop down arrow by each report and select the “Delete” option.
Option #2: You can use the mass delete function in Salesforce to delete all the reports in a single folder at a time. This option is definitely faster but you should feel comfortable using this tool before attempting to delete reports this way.
This tool can be found under (Setup > Administration Setup > Data Management > Mass Delete Records). You can also type “delete” into the setup search bar for easy navigation.
In the filter section for the mass delete reporting tool, enter the name of the report folder that contains the reports you wish to delete.
Some of the reports are source reports for the dashboards provided with Response Management. Before you can delete these source reports, you must first delete the dashboard components themselves. Navigate to the dashboard tab, and search for “Full Circle.”
Once you have a dashboard open, press the edit button to view the dashboard components. When in edit mode, click the X at the top of each dashboard column to delete all the components in row. When all of the components are deleted from each Full Circle Insights dashboard, you will be able to delete the source reports.
After the reports and dashboard components have been deleted. You will have to empty your Recycle Bin before being able to delete the report folders. To access the Recycle Bin, navigate to your the Salesforce Homepage and find the recycling bin link on the bottom left of your the navigation bar.
The reports you just deleted should appear at the top of the Recycle Bin. Check all the reports you wish to delete and press the “Empty your recycle bin” button. Be careful not to delete anything that is not related to Response Management.
After emptying your the Recycle Bin, navigate back to the report tab and you will now be able to delete the Full Circle Insights Report folders.
Full Circle Insights Buttons
You can easily access where these buttons appear on the uninstall page. The component type is listed as “Button or Link”. Click the link provided during the uninstall and you will see the button’s configuration setup page. You will see a button “Where is this used?”
This page will provide you with links to each page layout this button lives on. Drag the Full Circle Insights buttons off the layout and then save.
After the buttons have been removed from the layout, you will need to go into each of the standard buttons for which we created overrides for, click “Edit” next to the button, and then change the radio option from the Visualforce component to “No Override (use default)”. You will need to do this for the “New” Opportunity Button on the opportunity object and the “Convert” button on the lead object.

Remove Response Selector from Page Layouts
You will need to remove the Vvisualforce Response Selector component on the relevant page layouts. You can do this by editing a page layout and clicking the – icon on the component. This will need to be done on both the Lead and Contact objects. Repeat this process for each layout where this component lives onappears.
Setup > App Setup > Customize > Object Name (I.E. Lead/Contact) > Page Layouts > Layout Name
Response Management Templates:
The uninstall page contains links to the response templates that should be deleted. Click on one of those links, to see the folder containing those templates. Press the small blue “Del” link for each template.
Uninstall Report Packages
This could be named a couple different ways, but you should be able to find the package in the “Installed Packages” setup by looking at the publisher section and searching for “Full Circle CRM”

Delete FCCRM Email Service
The easiest way to navigate to this component for deletion is through the link the uninstall screen provides. One you have the Email Service component up, press the delete button.
Delete Any Remaining Custom Fields
After all of the other components listed above have been taken care of, there might be a few remaining fields that will need to be manually deleted before finishing the uninstall. This should be the last thing required for removing the package.
